So I just thought I'd update a bit coz I'm having a break from my English essay!

Beware spoilers for DW episode Partners in Crime (4x01)

This is gonna sound totally ridiculous but please remember I was only about 6 at the time.

So we were on our way to a French Town, well in France, obviously. It was kinda a long way and me and my brother were moaning about how far it was then suddenly my dad was like "well I guess you'll just have to look out for the dinosaur then wont you". We were like "what on earth". So he started telling us all these facts about this dinosaur....

1. It only lives on this stretch of road between the two towns that we were driving between
2. It has 3 legs
3. You have to really believe it exsists to see it
4. It can only be seen by children
5. It lost the 4th leg when an evil warlord shot at it

and there were more. It kept getting more and more ridiculous and we kept believing it! what can I say I was totally fooled! So embarrassing.....

I have two and both have helped me a lot at certain times in my life ( My favourite quotes and why I love them )

This is just a list of things i really hope don't happen in DH. I list of things that would make me cry and spur me on to write my own  (very bad!) version of the book!

1. Draco dies. This really would be awful for me.  Draco is probably the one character who I have "Grown to love". Most of my other favourites were favourites right from the minute they walked into my  life. I read them and from the first lines they spoke, loved them. Hagrid for example, I loved him the minute we met him in book 1. Lupin was also a favourite of mine right from the start. Draco, however, was very different. 
I hated Draco in the first book. Absolutely dispised him. My nine year old self couldn't quite understand how someone could be that arrogant, that mean and to be honest I was firmly on harry's side when it came to Draco. Oh how opinions change. 
As I grew older and I read the books more intently Draco became something very different to me. I began to realise that there is a reason he is like he is. He feels like he has to live up to his father's expectations of him. He constantly feels like he isn't perfect enough, that he's not what his father always wanted him to be. This has had a terrible affect on Draco. He strives, harder and harder, to meet his father's expectations. Whatever he does it isn't good enough. 
I have really begon to love Draco. I feel he definitley has the potential to be a great hero in book 7. However, i fear this may cost him his life and i really hope it doesn't. 

2. Harry is a Horcrux. This would really annoy me. Not so much because of the consquences of this (harry will probably have to sacrifice himself for the wizarding world if that is the case) but because i think it would be a really bad ending. I don't like the idea of harry spending all of book 7 searching for horcruxes, coming to meet voldemort and voldemort saying "ha you know what i'm still imortal, your a horcrux". This type of ending just doesn't do it for me.  I could be wrong, JKR could write this ending in a completely different and wonderful way and change my mind completely. For the moment though, this idea is not one I'm happy with.

3. Either Ron or Hermione dies. This is basically the selfish shipper in me coming out here. I've shipped Ron and Hermione since as long as i can remember. I didn't even know what i was doing was shipping until I discovered the strange and wonderful world of HP internet fandom. As a young 11 year old about to start secondary school for the first time, Ron and Hermione seemed the perfect couple. They fight so much because the alternative (actually admitting they like each other) is just too scary. Ron and Hermione have always been, and will always be, my favourite ship of all time. Any other pairing, both in HP and other fandoms, can never come close. Since discovering the wide range of pairings available in the HP universe (filch/Hagrid probably the strangest one I've come across) I have come to love many other pairings. Draco/Luna Luna/Neville Luna/Harry Harry/Ginny Draco/Harry Draco/Luna and Dumbledore/Mcgonagall have all become favourites of mine since my entry into the crazy hp internet ` world. 

No matter what though, I have always come back to my origional ship. Ron/Hermione simply has something over me that no other ship has ever quite achevied. I desperatley want it to be canon. Even Harry/Ginny doesn't have this affect on me. Sure I would be a little bit upset if Harry and Ginny didn't get married in book 7, but if they don't I will be able to deal with whoever they do end up with (I'm dilebrately staying clear of the posibility they might die).

Its not just because of my own selfish reasons that I don't want Ron or Hermione to die. I also don't think it makes sense in the structure of the story. Whatever harry/hermione shippers have said (and I really don't want to get into that debate right now!) JKR has been setting up Ron/Hermione since PS. It's been obvious it's on the agender since PoA. I don't think it would work well for JKR to set this up for 6 books- only to have one or both of them die in the final installment. Our favourite author can be ruthless at times, but she's not stupid.

4.) The trio don't go back to hogwarts- AT ALL. You see I don't have a problem with the trio not going back to hogwarts to study- in fact I think that option would be a really interesting one. However- if they don't go back to Hogwarts at all i will be really dissapointed. Hogwarts is by far my favourite setting in the HP universe. Sure, I love the Burrow and the MoM isn't bad either. But Hogwarts is awesome! So many rooms, floors and (best of all) so many secrets. There's so much we don't know about hogwarts and I hope we find out  some of these things in DH.

5) Bill and Fleurs wedding interupted by DEs. This is a really popular theory and I really hope it's wrong. Much as this would be a good strategic plan by the DEs (all the order will be there as well as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and possibly Neville and Luna) I would prefer something else to happen at the wedding. I see this as a perfect oppertunity for JKR to set up the romantic pairings for the book. Harry may ask Ginny to get back together with him, then again he may not. However it would be the perfect opertunity for Ron and Hermione to admit there feelings for each other. Hopefully this situation will be the one we see rather than the bloodbath situation mentioned above!

that's about it. May have sounded like a bit of a rant so sorry about that. I was just trying to collate my hopes and fears for DH together in one place!
